So here I am.. Making my very first contribution to my newly made blog. Amazing it took me this long!
Been "online" since 1997, have had my fair share of crazy emailadresses, meet some funny people during the jubii.dk-times back in 1997-1998 and the parties at "Brooklyn Bar & Café", slowly matured (yeah.. Really ;) ) and skipped the chat-business since it ended up feeling shallow and sex-fixated. For many years all I used the internet for, was checking my hotmail inbox and maybe playing Settlers Online occasionally.. All of this ended in august 2005 when my ex-boyfriend introduced me to the amazing World of Warcraft. I suppose this don't need further introduction, but for those not familiar with WoW... Its a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, in short terms MMORPG. And in plain english.. Lots of crazy people at all ages enjoying themselves killing orcs, elves, various kind of wildlife, mighty dragons and doing some pretty screwed up shit like killing turkeys on a timer.. Very amusing. There I was, running around on his level 60 priest, studying the local flora and fauna, collection herbs for him to make powerfull potions off. Yeah. it sounds geeky, but its quite entertaining really. Suddlenly I found myself cuddled up in leveling my own little character, a shaman named Magiche (had to make something up and I wanted it to be something with "magic".. ). This was only the start. I made my way to a little guild called the Resolution, and from here to Order of The Dawn. After a quick stop at some idiotic guild called Blood Lords I finally applied to my ex-boyfriends guild at the time, a guild called Semper Danica. That was in June 2006. The rest is history really. Today I share the post as Guildmaster with Mark, ingame named HolgerDK.. Yeah. really! :D
Anyway... Why am I here? Guess the reason I havnt made a blog earlier, is that I didnt really feel I had something to say, that someone hadnt already said better in the past. I still feel the same, but now I actually have had a taste of the blogging world on our guild website and found it quite funny.
So here I am. I hope as time passes by something usefull and maybe entertaining will appear on my little blog. Im affraid most of it will be in danish, but once in a while I'll post something in english, so my english viewers (my regards to Peter and maybe Dave.. and who ever will stop by :) ) have something to laugh off.
Yours truly
Maggie
